Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by! It’s officially Launch Day and I couldn’t be more excited to share everything that I’ve been working on! This website has truly been a labor of love and I hope you love it as much as I do!

In celebration of Launch Day, anyone who books a session with PRP today will receive a special 20% discount off your session price!

I’ve certainly had to jump through quite a few hoops to get here today and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of my husband. For those new here, I attended Christopher Newport University and graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. I spent 2 fabulous years teaching Kindergarten. In December of 2015, AB and I discovered that we were going to become parents. While on maternity leave at the beginning of the new school year, I made the difficult decision to not return to my classroom. Fast forward almost a year later and we are now blessed with the sweetest (almost) 5 month old baby girl, Addison Shay.

Having always had a passion for photography, becoming a mother only amplified my love for taking photos. Yup, I am that mom who has over 2,000 photos of her baby in her camera roll… It just sort of happens right away. You see how quickly they change and how amazing every movement they make is and you just want to capture it all. Well isn’t that what photography is all about?

So now back to my amazing husband. It wasn’t easy admitting even to myself that I wanted to go out of my comfort zone, take a risk, and pursue something purely based on a passion of mine. So while having dinner one night a few months back, I very casually admitted to AB that I had been giving this a lot of thought and wanted to give it a try. His response really took me by surprise. Not only was he in full support but he wanted to help me get started right away. He’s helped in every capacity since that night from researching equipment, business license information, contracts, and websites, to even taking 50+ photos of me tossing confetti in the air (see photo above). Y’all, this man is a saint.

I have so much growing and learning to do as a photographer and a business woman and am just so grateful for all the creatives out there who provide inspiration, support and leadership. Looking forward to this new venture and all that’s in store for Paige Ryan Photography!
