Addison’s Nursery

Hi there! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! I figured today is a perfect day for a little personal post 🙂 So in addition to photography, being a mommy and a wife, another passion of mine is interior decorating. Let me preface this by saying I owe 99% of my decorating to Pinterest. I wish I had more creativity to be able to come up with unique designs on my own but I always have to start with a little inspiration to really get my designs going.

Now I’ve been wanting to do a home tour post but unfortunately the only finished or “camera ready” room in our house is Addison’s nursery! When my husband and I found out we were first expecting we were living in a 1 bedroom, 500 sq ft apartment at the Oceanfront. As much as we loved living there it would have been a little too crowded for our growing family. It seemed like after just a few weeks of house hunting we came across the perfect condo we could call our own. We’ve been here for a little over a year now and we absolutely love this space! As I mentioned, Addison’s nursery was the first room we tackled because after all she was the reason we moved here in the first place! Her room is by far my favorite place to hang out. I love the way sunlight just pours into her room. It is every bit girly from the pink accent wall and curtains, to the crystal chandelier and flower mobile. You’ll notice a few subtle (or maybe not so subtle) pineapple accents throughout the room. Y’all pineapples are my FAVORITE! You’ll seriously find them in every room in the house! Hope you enjoy viewing my beautiful Addison Shay’s room!
