Wow. Where do I even begin? Amber and Mike’s winter wedding at the gorgeous Separk Mansion was absolutely breathtaking. One word to describe the day would be “flawless”. It’s every photographers dream to be ahead of schedule on a wedding day and that’s exactly how things went. As evident by how long this blog post is, I had so much time and flexibility that I found myself quickly filling up all my memory cards. Everywhere I turned, there was a moment or a detail that needed to be captured.
I wish there could be an audio component to this post because what made the day even more special was all the kind words said about Amber and Mike. They had 5 toasts. FIVE. That’s how loved and adored they are. Their family and friends could not say enough wonderful things about this couple. The best part of the day was their bride and groom portraits. Unfortunately under rare circumstances, we did not have an engagement session so my first time with Amber and Mike was on their wedding day. However, they were so comfortable taking pictures and being absolutely adorable together. Between their first-look and intimate ceremony, I couldn’t help but get teary-eyed seeing the way they love each other. Their love is so fun, easy and effortless. It was a beautiful thing to witness.
Amber and Mike dreamed up the perfect wedding between the varied shades of blue for every bridesmaid dress, a picturesque venue, crystal candelabras, sequined tablecloths, and a sparkler sendoff, the list goes on and on. It was an honor to have been there with my camera to capture it all. A special thanks to all the vendors who helped make their day so perfect!
