My poor blog has been collecting dust over the past couple months! I have had the honor of capturing so many beautiful sessions this fall but with so much to edit, the blog has had to take a bit of a back seat. Well thankfully I can finally see light at the end of the editing tunnel so I am thrilled to be sharing Leah and Chris’s engagement session from earlier this month! We met for a sunrise session at the lovely Glass House Winery. This was hands down the COLDEST session I have ever done with the temperatures reaching a whopping 25 degrees. Are we crazy or what?! Well Leah and Chris were totally up for the adventure and it was SO worth it! Between the fog on the water and the trees and vines hanging on to the last of their leaves, everything about this location was so dreamy! I may have admitted this before, but sunrise sessions are my absolute favorite, especially in the mountains. Catching the first glimpse of light and not a soul in sight, these early morning sessions are so intimate and romantic. Leah and Chris are one of my 2019 wedding couples that I have been so excited to meet in person. They are so incredibly sweet, laid-back and easy to talk to, the exact type of couple I dream about booking! They instantly felt like friends the second we stepped out in the frost covered grass and we committed to rocking out the session! They will be tying the knot in June at The Osprey’s at Belmont Bay and I can’t wait to be there to capture their special day!
