This was my first time at the lovely Vineyard Estate at New Kent Winery. Everything about the property was so beautiful including the long winding road leading up to the estate, the bistro lights covering the outside patio, and the charming rustic barn used for the reception. I also absolutely loved the little bridal suite cottage where Beth and her girls spent some time doing their final touches! I can totally see why Beth and Ryan fell in love with this gorgeous venue! It was an exceptionally sunny day, without a cloud in the sky. It allowed for Beth and Ryan to have their dream of an outdoor ceremony a reality. In fact, on their wedding questionnaire, Beth and Ryan were to describe their dream wedding day and “sunshine” was a key word they used! Only their closest friends and family gathered for this intimate celebration. It really felt like a big family picnic, including the most delicious bbq from Deep Run Roadhouse!
The best part about the whole day was watching the way Beth and Ryan were together. There is a calming presence that Ryan brings Beth, and there is a deep admiration and love Ryan has in his eyes when he looks at Beth. It truly is something special. I’ve loved getting to know them as a couple over the year, then getting to know their warmest and sweetest family and friends on their wedding day. I feel so blessed to have been a part of their day and capture these moments they’ll have to cherish for a lifetime! Love you Mr. and Mrs. McGowan! May this new chapter of your lives bring you you happiness and sunshine!!
