It is easy to scroll through these images and see all the obvious reasons why this wedding was so beautiful, perfectly planned and designed. However, there was so much more to this day than just the lovely details, gorgeous florals, a beautiful bride and her handsome groom. There was so much emotion for a variety of reasons. There was someone very special who couldn’t be there for this day, and that was my sweet bride’s mother. Chelsea’s “mama” suffered a stroke just 4 days before her wedding. She has made progress since but was unable to be there on the wedding day. Her mother insisted the day goes as planned. Despite her not physically being a part of the day, her presence was felt throughout the whole day. One of the bridesmaids printed pictures of Chelsea’s mama for her to hold while she got into her dress. It was such a beautiful way to honor her mother who would have otherwise been a part of this special moment. Before the ceremony, Chelsea’s aunt gathered the girls together so they could have a moment of prayer. It was such a raw and beautiful moment to witness.
The day was still full of so much joy, laughter and a whole lot of dancing! One of the best moments was seeing both Tom and Chelsea’a reactions as they saw each other for the first time at the ceremony. They were just so happy to see one another and take in the moment. Chelsea and Tom, as I discovered through their engagement session, are both thoughtful, intentional, and generous. They are smitten with each other and always looking for opportunities to make the other smile or feel loved and appreciated. It truly is a love to admire.
Guests packed the dance floor all night long and kept the party going until the very last song! I loved having the opportunity to work alongside so many talented vendors and capture all the special moments from this day. A big congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Robinson! Wishing you two all the love and happiness as you begin your new chapter of life as husband and wife! xoxo
