Colonial Williamsburg, Engagement Session

It’s no secret that Colonial Williamsburg is one of my absolute favorite locations for engagement sessions. There are so many beautiful backdrops, hidden gardens and white picket fences with the perfect light at sunrise and in the evenings. I was so happy that Emily and Preston chose this spot for the spring engagement session. These two are truly a breath of fresh air. From the first couple pictures I snapped of E+P, I knew it was going to be a smooth and effortless session. The way Emily carries herself is so poised and graceful. Preston is laid back and absolutely smitten with his bride-to-be. When my couples trust me as their photographer, I have the ability to create beautiful and timeless portraits for them and that’s exactly what we accomplished here. I am so excited to share some of my favorites from this session but more importantly, I am so excited to capture Emily and Preston’s big day next spring at The Lodge at Mount Ida in Charlottesville, VA.
